Main shair hon

Main shair hon her pal ka
Betay hoay lumhon ka aur anay walay kal ka
Kal tum ketni pas thi meray
Chunri ka rang tha neela halka
Aaj tum ketni dur ho mughsay
Jaisay kalay badal bijli lai aur pata nahi kuch kal ka
Dukhi ho ab tak kiyun tum
Lagta hai tumhari ankh ka piyala ab chalka tub chalka
Sub gham apnay day do mugh ko aur meri khushian lay lo
Han ab baat bani kuch, rang khushi ka jahlka
Aaj koi aur tumharay sath hai lakin
Main dekh raha hon khawab humaray anay walay kal ka

Main aur meri shairi

[Main sirf sher nahi kah raha hon. Urdu zaban ka qarz utar raha hon, sood samait]

Ye lafz hain, alfaz hain, jumlay hain, kahani hai sirf sher nahi
Dil ki awaz hai, meray jazbat hain, mahez lafzon ka ulat pher nahi

What is the definition of Social Networking

When we ignore and go past those around us and our emotional side walks to the edge of our social being and we peek into the World Wide Web to look for a new person and, end up finding one -- only to walk the exact same walk that we had done before and only to the same logical end as we had arrived with others in our life before this person. This is social network in essence.

This process self repeating makes us churn and burn ourself in the very pursuit itself, over and over again like running between pillar and post, to the exact same logical end, howsoever illogical it may appear to others around us. This is a total waste of our energy since it makes us consume our total time and energy while we are alive, in an endless loop.

I am very aware of it and suggest to those who maybe listening or reading my blog that unless you want to burn all your life in a single loop, stay away from it. It is social suicide. I hate to sound anti-social but a social maze is better where you accidentally meet and connect with people round the corner in your daily life. It is intellectually rewarding and, surely, lot less loopy. I don't have anything against computers or the World Wide Web but I find social networking making billions for those who are making it ever easier for you to make your loops faster and zoom around it even at dizzying speed. It is just that hundreds of million minds will be rendered 'looped', for lack of a better word, in the pursuit of something more gratifying which isn't there in the first place.
